The playoffs will be a three week round robin culminating in a consolation final and a championship game on Thursday August 20th, 2009.

During the round robin, games will be worth five points. Two points for winning the game, one point for each period won (1/2 point for a tie period) for a maximum of 5 points.

Eg.  Penguins vs Flyers

For this game the Penguins would receive 1 ½ points and the Flyers would receive 3 ½ points.

Tie breakers will be: number of wins, head to head, and goals against.

The top two teams after the round robin will play in the championship game and the 3^rd and 4^th place teams will play in the consolation game.
